Hace años que llevo intentando pintar esta escena vaporosa que aún se me resiste. Pero es lo menos malo que he conseguido hasta el momento, así que me animo a publicarla.
Es un momento de calma y de belleza etérea a última hora de una tarde de final de verano. Los rayos de sol se filtran entre los árboles del parque y proyectan sombras alargadas sobre la arena, creando un juego de luces y sombras en una paleta de sombras que solo la naturaleza puede crear. La playa aún bulle de vida, con alguna sombrilla aún despegada y figuras que se funden con el paisaje en un ballet efímero de movimiento y quietud.

For years I’ve been trying to paint this vaporous scene with which I’m still struggling. But it’s the least bad rendition I’ve achieved so far, so I’m encouraged to publish it.
It is a moment of calm and ethereal beauty at the end of an afternoon in late summer. The sun’s rays filter between the trees of the park and cast long shadows on the sand, creating a play of lights and shadows in a color palette that only nature can create. The beach is still bustling with life, with some umbrellas still open and figures that merge with the landscape in an ephemeral ballet of movement and stillness.

Urteak daramatzat oraindik iheskor egiten zaidan eszena lurruntsu hau margiztu nahirik. Baina orain arte lortu dudan o Ena edo denez, argitaratzera animatzen naiz.
Lasaitasun eta edertasun etereoko unea da uda amaierako arratsalde baten azken orduan. Eguzki izpiak parkeko zuhaitzen artean iragazten dira eta itzal luzeak proiektatzen dituzte harearen gainean, naturak bakarrik sor dezakeen paleta batean, argi-itzalen joko bat sortuz. Hondartza bizirik dago oraindik, sonbrila batzuk oraindik tolestu barik, figura batzuk paisaiarekin bat eginez, mugimendu eta lasaitasunezko ballet iragankor batean.
